These are proving popular. They run each week from late April to early September. The distances range from four to five miles, and the start times vary from 6.30pm to 7pm depending on the time of sunset. After each walk is the option to stop for a drink in a nearby pub.
The average attendance on the ten walks held so far is fifteen.
Yesterday’s walk was from Busbridge in Godalming. It was a warm sunny evening. Footpaths were dry and the going was good. The nine of us walked the five miles in just over two hours.
Next week’s walk starts from Watts Chapel Cemetery at 7pm with drinks afterwards in The Harrow, Compton.
