Chiddingfold circular 6 miles

This walk is best reserved for the summer when footpaths are dry. Earlier and later in the year some paths can be horribly muddy.

Start from the village green in Chiddingfold and head west through the churchyard. Leave this at the edge of the graveyard and turn left to join a footpath that heads up a slope, past houses to The Downs. At a minor road, turn right then take the next footpath on the left past Langhurst Manor Farm. The footpath runs SW across fields to reach Prestwick Lane. Turn left to pass Prestwick Farm and continue on this road to take the footpath on the left immediately after the RH bend. This heads towards Grayswood.

Near Grayswood turn SE on a bridleway towards Imbhams Farm. Pass through fields, turn left on a footpath that leads to Frillinghurst Farm. Turn right on the lane and continue to Furzefield where there is a footpath on the left that goes up a short slope and then across two fields.

At the road turn left and, at the RH bend, bear left, then take a footpath on the right through an old metal gate. This heads back to Langhurst Manor Farm. From here retrace the route back to Chiddingfold.
