Hydon's Ball

Hydon’s Ball

There were no incidents on this morning’s five mile walk. Thirty-two arrived for it; no one fell over and no one got lost. And no horseflies bit me. Whether this was due to the absence of horseflies or to the application of DEET to the exposed part of my legs I shall never know. (Boots Repel Tropical Strength)

The leader followed the Hascombe and Hydon’s Ball route from the Fancy Free Walks website. The weather was good, paths were dry and the group stayed together.
