Compton circular

The weather was back to normal today. There was cloud and intermittent rain.

Fourteen arrived at the start by the village hall in Compton. The leader told us that the route was flat but what it lacked in ascent it made up for in stiles. (There were ten.)

We set off across Eastbury Park, crossed a field, continued on a footpath to Binscombe and then took another one to the B3000. Crossing this we entered Loseley Park, followed the footpath to Grove Cottages, walked north on Stakescorner Road to Littleton where we turned west on a footpath across Loseley Park to Polsted Manor. Here we continued west towards Coneycroft Farm on another footpath but branched south before the farm on a footpath that took us back to the B3000 and the village hall.
