Hindhead Roam 639

Today’s morning walk followed Roam 639, a route created round the Devil’s Punchbowl. Paths were dry, views were good and skies were clear. Twenty-six arrived for the start at Hindhead NT car park. One person from Basingstoke who joined us had driven past the area many times on the old A3. She was amazed at the transformation that had taken place after the opening of the Hindhead tunnel.

Tomorrow we have a stall at the Haslemere Charter Fair. Rain is forecast for the afternoon.
