Puttenham circular

The leader of this morning’s five mile walk excelled herself. She stood in for the scheduled leader at short notice and, this morning, got up early to bake two trays of flapjack for us. Needless to say it was well received.

Twenty-one arrived for the start of the walk at Lower Puttenham Common car park. We set off round The Tarn, took a bridleway that went past General’s Pond, joined the North Downs Way and followed this west. North of Binton Wood we turned south on a footpath, walked through Binton Wood, crossed Littleworth Road, continued south by Culverswell Hill, crossed Seale Road and walked through Britty Wood back to the car park.
