Loseley, Godalming & River Wey

Two days of sub-zero temperatures left mud frozen solid on today’s nine mile walk.

We (20) set off from Artington, crossed the A3100 and headed west on a footpath towards Loseley Park, passed Polsted Manor, turned south on a footpath through Bummoor Copse, turned right on a lane, crossed the B3000 to a footpath that went SE, turned right on a bridleway that passed The Grange, turned west on a track through a small woodland to join a bridleway and head SW. The bridleway crossed two minor roads and continued downhill to a footpath. Here  we turned left through Milton Wood and followed the footpath to Godalming where we stopped for lunch.

After lunch we returned to the start along the canal towing path.
