Godalming & Haslemere Ramblers

Artington, Compton & cake

Thirty arrived for this morning’s five mile walk. The special attraction, apart from the company, was the stop at Watts Gallery Tea Shop for refreshment.

It was colder than yesterday but paths were dry and views were good. There were enough bluebells in flower in woodland to create the hint of a carpet of blue.

We set off from Artington Park & Ride, headed west on footpaths, passed Loseley House and continued to Watts Gallery. After our break we returned to the start via the North Downs Way and the River Wey Navigation.
