This was a repeat of the walk on April 6. Then we escaped rain; today we did not. The nine who turned up had seen the weather forecast and came prepared. The two leaders had a couple of shortcuts to offer but, by the time we reached the first and then the second, we were wet enough not to mind continuing on the full route (5½ miles). After 1½ hours the rain eased and gradually stopped. We were almost dry when we arrived back for lunch.
Three left after lunch; two more joined us for the three mile circuit of Farnham Park. There was no more rain until five minutes after we set off to drive home.
