The leader of the walk on Sunday May 1 repeated it today for Thursday walkers. There were more leaves on trees and fewer bluebells in flower than twelve days ago. After a cold start the day warmed up and by the end of the walk it was hot enough for the four of us who stayed for lunch to sit outside the café to eat.
Twenty arrived for the start at the NT car park. We followed the 6.39 mile route of Roam 639. After four miles it passed near the car park. The leader drew attention to this in case anyone wished to leave early. Nine promptly departed.
